Built in 1864, the Adner Heights Asylum was once a thriving institution for the clinically insane. In its prime the asylum provided proper treatment for thousands of mentally impaired patients, but these times were short lived. By the 1930's the asylum became overcrowded, it was not uncommon for up to 4 patients to be housed in one 8'x8' room. As time progressed so did methods of treatment. Some of the procedures done on the patients of Adner Heights included the following:
- Water Treatment
Patients were submerged in ice cold water for extended periods of time. They were often wrapped in sheets which had been soaked in ice water and restrained.
- Solitary
Patients were left restrained in a completely dark padded cell for periods of up to a month, with minimal food and water. There is one recorded incident of a patient being placed in solitary and then completely forgotten by the asylum staff. The cell was opened a month later and the rotting corpse of this patient was discovered.
- Shock Therapy
Electric shocks were given to patients submerged in water tanks or directly to the temples. A patient held a rubber piece in his mouth to prevent him from biting his tongue off during the convulsions which followed a treatment.
- Lobotomy (Trans-Orbital)
Developed in the 1940's, this lobotomy was performed on over 700 patients at Adner Heights Asylum. This method involved knocking the patient unconscious with electric shocks, then rolling an eyelid back and inserting a thin metal ice pick instrument through a tear duct. A mallet was used to tap the instrument the proper depth into the brain. Next it was sawed back and forth to sever the neural receptors. This method rarely worked and nearly always left patients in a catatonic state, or dead...
In 1973 Adner Heights was completely shut done after a government investigation discovered the grotesque and inhumane practices being done to the patients. Since the investigation Adner Heights Asylum has been completely closed to the public... until now. It's your turn to journey through the halls of Adner Heights, it is said the tormented spirits of the many patients and surgeons still roam the building. Experience the sadistic treatments done to the patients of the past. Can you make it out alive?"

The bodies of 8 more people were recently discovered Monday washed up along the coast of the St. John's River, in what Jacksonville police authorities described as "a scene of sadistic mutilations and terror." These murders on top of the 17 earlier in the year, total 25 murders to date. There have also been 11 additional missing person cases, all linking to one 'family'.
Authorities had one suspect in custody (Stephen Kerns) who claims to be a member of the family responsible for the brutal killings. When questioned of a motivation for the murders the suspect replied, "Every man has his own tastes, ours' just happens to be for corpses." Kerns was found mentally incompetent and unfit to stand trial, and currently resides at a Florida State Psychiatric Hospital.
Further investigation proves several of the Kern’s statements to be true. It is now believed that this 'family' organization exists, and remains at large somewhere in the Northeast Florida area...
Now it's your turn to experience the terror. Try and make your way through the home of this deranged, sadistic, and cannibalistic family. If you survive, what will be left of you?"

The First Coast Nuclear Plant opened in 1971. For over 30 years the plant provided the Jacksonville, Florida area sufficiently with power. In 2002 a nuclear meltdown occurred in a portion of Unit 2 in the facility. None of the several hundred workers made it out of the building. The workers who managed to survive the meltdown are said to have suffered both physical and mental mutilations from the radiation.
The plant is now abandoned, off limits, and avoided at all cost by citizens due to the radiation and crazed workers still inhabiting the building. The surviving workers have been quarantined into the facility due to their extremely violent tendencies.
Will you enter the old nuclear plant? Power has been down for years, and inside there is total darkness. Although you can’t see them, the mutant workers can see you. Will you be able to escape the crazed and bloodthirsty mutants inhabiting the abandoned First Coast Nuclear Plant?
