Night Terrors is a haunted house event located in Jacksonville, FL. It consists of three terrifying walk through attractions filled with high-tech special effects, realistic sets, and trained actors in professional makeup. It's like being inside of a living horror film.

The haunted houses are all new this year. Because of the overwhelming response we received last season, we have moved to a massive 30,000+ square foot location to accommodate the huge crowds.

Night Terrors has been selected as one of the best haunted houses in America by AmericasBestHaunts.com

"Night Terrors is slick and professional, with 50-some actors,
high-tech effects and some seriously gruesome frights."

The N3QX 1 Virus Strain has hit the Jacksonville metropolitan area. The virus is believed to be transmitted through bodily fluids of the infected, often through a bite or scratch.  Initial symptoms include severe itching, bleeding from the orifices, vomiting, and increased irritability. The Center for Disease Control is requiring all citizens to immediately report to their assigned safe house for decontamination and isolation from the infected. Avoid the infected at all costs!

Experience the Zombie Apocalypse firsthand at Outbreak! Featuring mind blowing special effects and mobs of the infected.  Outbreak is one of Florida's most innovative haunted houses.

Built in 1864, the Adner Heights Asylum was once a thriving institution for the clinically insane. In its prime the asylum provided proper treatment for thousands of mentally impaired patients, but these times were short lived. By the 1930's the asylum became overcrowded, it was not uncommon for up to 4 patients to be housed in one 8'x8' room. As time progressed so did methods of treatment. Some of the procedures done on the patients of Adner Heights included the following:

1.Water Treatment
Patients were submerged in ice cold water for extended periods of time. They were often wrapped in sheets which had been soaked in ice water and restrained.

2.Solitary
Patients were left restrained in a completely dark padded cell for periods of up to a month, with minimal food and water. There is one recorded incident of a patient being placed in solitary and then completely forgotten by the asylum staff. The cell was opened a month later and the rotting corpse of this patient was discovered.

3.Shock Therapy
Electric shocks were given to patients submerged in water tanks or directly to the temples. A patient held a rubber piece in his mouth to prevent him from biting his tongue off during the convulsions which followed a treatment.

4.Lobotomy (Trans-Orbital)
Developed in the 1940's, this lobotomy was performed on over 700 patients at Adner Heights Asylum. This method involved knocking the patient unconscious with electric shocks, then rolling an eyelid back and inserting a thin metal ice pick instrument through a tear duct. A mallet was used to tap the instrument the proper depth into the brain. Next it was sawed back and forth to sever the neural receptors. This method rarely worked and nearly always left patients in a catatonic state, or dead...

In 1973 Adner Heights was completely shut done after a government investigation discovered the grotesque and inhumane practices being done to the patients. Since the investigation Adner Heights Asylum has been completely closed to the public... until now. It's your turn to journey through the halls of Adner Heights, it is said the tormented spirits of the many patients and surgeons still roam the building. Experience the sadistic treatments done to the patients of the past. Can you make it out alive?
